Everyday work
Projects and working folders
Choose the folder that holds the material, and keep related tasks in one project.
When the same work needs several chats and the same set of files, create a project. A project is one local folder, and its tasks are listed under it.
Open the materials folder
- Beside the Projects title on the left, choose the Add project icon.
- In the menu, choose Open local folder, then select the materials folder in the system window.
- Back in Memmy, confirm that the project name appears under the input, then type the task.
You can also choose Choose project under the input on a new task, then pick an existing project or open another folder.
Organize projects
Hover the project name and choose … on the right to open Project actions.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pin project | Move a project you use often into the pinned area. |
| Show in folder | Reveal the local folder in the system file manager. |
| Mark all as read | Mark the tasks in this project as read. |
| Archive tasks | Archive that project’s tasks. A running task is not stopped. Find them again from the task-list actions, under archived only. |
| Remove project | Remove the project and permanently delete the tasks in it. The folder and files on disk stay. The confirmation shows how many tasks will be deleted. |
The folder will not open, or the material is missing
Confirm the folder was not moved or deleted, and that an external disk is still connected. Then choose Open local folder again. For a single file, you can also add it with + beside the input.
