Adapt Office tools

The Office plugin creates or revises Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files.

Install

1. On the left, open Connections & Tools and choose Task plugins.
2. Find the Office card and choose +. This plugin does not require sign-in.
3. After it is installed, choose Try it, or open View details and choose Add to chat.

The first run or an export

The first time you create, export, or convert a file, the app prepares a verified runtime. You do not install that runtime yourself. If an export is still waiting or fails, go back to Connections & Tools → Task plugins and check this card. Try again after preparation finishes.

Try it

Try creating a PDF from a specific meeting agenda:

Create a one-page PDF titled New Employee Orientation Agenda. The goals are to meet the team, set up accounts, and understand the first week’s plan. Include this 30-minute agenda: team introduction 5 minutes, accounts and tools 10 minutes, first-week tasks 10 minutes, Q&A 5 minutes. End with a preparation checklist: bring a laptop and confirm that the work email is accessible. Use a clear layout and name the file orientation-agenda.pdf.

When a file card appears under the reply, open it to check the content and layout. For Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, also describe what the file should contain.
